Baker broke two laws by denying service to same sex couple
Even though there were petitions that went out against building new Chick-Fil-A restaurants because of their stand against gay marriage, it hadn’t stopped them from being built. One just opened in Wichita Falls on June 13. In turn, there hadn’t been anyone known by me who refused service from any of those stores because of their gay lifestyle.
In a time when the Bible, while it was the number one selling book in the United States, according to The 700 Club, was being ignored in the secular world. People that lived the gay lifestyle wanted the courts to redefine marriage to include homosexuality as normal and gay marriage like that of traditional marriage. Both Chick-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby hit a storm of controversy for standing by their Christian beliefs against gay marriage and homosexuality.
